Polish Drone Alliance has been publicly presented by the City of Rzeszów as a national platform supporting the development of unmanned and counter-drone capabilities for Poland and Europe.
The official communication from the City of Rzeszów describes PDA as an initiative focused on building drone and counter-drone capabilities, with a strategic role for Poland and the European ecosystem.
The publication positions Polish Drone Alliance within a broader industrial and technological context. PDA is presented not as a single-company project, but as a coordinated platform intended to strengthen cooperation between companies, research institutions, universities, public partners and stakeholders operating across unmanned systems, autonomous technologies and counter-drone solutions.
This institutional visibility is important for the Polish unmanned systems sector. Modern drone and counter-drone capabilities require more than individual platforms. They require an integrated ecosystem covering complete systems, components, payloads, software, sensors, communications, testing, manufacturing, system integration and operational deployment.
For Polish Drone Alliance, the public presentation by the City of Rzeszów provides a strong foundation for further cooperation. It confirms PDA’s role as an emerging coordination platform for industrial, technological and strategic initiatives connected with unmanned systems and C-UAS capabilities.
Rzeszów is a natural location for this initiative. The city is closely connected with the aerospace and defense-oriented industrial ecosystem of south-eastern Poland and plays an important role in the wider security context of Central and Eastern Europe. The City of Rzeszów communication places PDA within this strategic environment, linking unmanned systems development with regional industrial capacity and European security needs.
Polish Drone Alliance will continue to develop as a platform for companies and institutions working across air, land and maritime unmanned systems, counter-drone technologies, dual-use applications and capability coordination.
